Could someone please explain something to me? How is it that one of the world’s wealthiest countries cannot respond quickly enough when something as imminant as a hurricane threatens its citizens? The images that I have seen on TV and the internet are just heartbreaking. And the stories are just heart wrenching

I can sum it up in one single, solitary letter: W.

This man is a joke. It took him nearly a week to have any sort of plan of attack to help those down there in desperate need of assistance. Yet he has nooooooooooo problem pumping billions of dollars into the "War on Terror." 2008 cannot get here soon enough.

Congress has no problem talking about impeaching Clinton for getting some head, why can't they impeach Bush for not using his head?

I agree, but W is not the only reason for this calamity. I also blame FEMA. I am tired of hearing lies from its director, and would really like to see some Congressional hearings on what the fuck happened in New Orleans!
