Physics, done. I passed physics. Defended a few weeks back and now im out there trying to find work. I wouldnt say im trying very hard yet. I have 4 months to float on and the lack of prospects is contributing to my procrastination. The defense? Well that was ok. It was quick, just over an hour. The PhD defense before mine ( which was JRs ) lasted

Did the new people come out to jam? How was jamming? I think I'm even less into thrones than you are and will no longer consistently watch it, and will hopefully be able to completely cut it out of my life. It will depend on how much space I have in my life for terrible dialogue, inconsistent characters, and an excess of ridiculous story lines. Yes hanging out with those people was the worst, but worth it because now we can tell stories about our experience. I also think it is good to experience worlds that you are not familiar with, like ones where at least 50% of the people are horrendous snobs. But yes, let's not do it again. MWAH!

I am super interested in public shaming. Perhaps you should have directed these Ph.Ds to certain websites that specialize in such practices. I just hope you got to keep your face clean and clothes on. It can get rather messy

I agree with Adam to some extent, however; if they were nicer people they would at least give the outsiders a chance and attempt to see if they are suitable for entry into the group.

I also agree that this season of thrones isn't as good, but I am still enjoying it.
