I'm sure your dad would be impressed, Andrew. He wouldn't have wanted his passing or absence to stop anyone else from living their lives. The primary drive for most parents, I think, is to give their own flesh and blood chances they never had, and to see them thrive in a world which they helped create. Carrying his memory with you as you do what he wanted and expected of you is probably the greatest testimonial you can give.
Maybe that, and bowling a 200 or so.
