I love you, typewriter

Sep 04, 2004 20:50

Who had the loveliest day? I did! First, the wind made my morning because it was nice and cool instead of hot hot hot. Then I went out with my dad (to pick up my contacts) and we just so happened to be near Savers on Bell Rd. I shouted, Savers is calling us! Let's go. And so we went.
And this is the gloriousness that I aquired while there. ( Thirty dollars worth of sweet lovin' )

That is so HAWT.

You probably paid more for the Borders book than you did for everything else combined. Am I right, am I right, am I right???

You're almost right, you're almost right right right! The book was pretty much the same price as everything combined except the typewriter. But if the book were in hardback...boy oh boy you would have been right.

How's the hurricane treating you?

It's pretty windy outside right now. We put up shutters and stuff, but we really didn't get too much of it (yet, at least). The Bahamas and also the people just a bit north of here really got pounded though. :-/

It wasn't a boring day. It was a great day. I was thinking about leaving the green, but no, I won't. If I cover it, I can still take off the new fabric one day if I decide I want the green back.

Is it in your giant, human-sized vault in your den?? Hahah, that's neat. Do you ever use it?

Do you use the other one then? Don't you love the sound they make when you hit the keys?
It's Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. And the Billy Joel 45 has "Keeping the Faith" and "She's Right On Time" on it. What else do you have? You seem to have many fantastic things in your house :)

lol. I don't use the typewriter much. It's really my dad's. But we used to press Ctrl + Z and it would type automatically this little information thing. We were very amused by it. lol.

I just Watched The Undiscovered Country this week. lol.

And Well...I have Billy Joel...I think it's called The Stranger. And on the front there's a picture of a mask on a pillow. heh. And I really forgot what the other one is. It's probably up in the attic.

Fantastic Things...hmm yes. I'm gonna put up a pic of my famous green-haired doll. ^.^

My typewriter doesn't even have a control button :(

Hhaa, that's great. I'm gonna watch it today.

Ooh I wish I had a real attic. We have this wannabee attic that's not really an attic at all. Anyway, I just think they're neat.

Green-haired doll what? Is it a troll? This sounds amazing.
