30 Day Song Meme
This has been going around for awhile. One of my fb friends has been posting it there...but I like to do things my way, so I'm posting it here, as a list rather than the whole 30-day meme thing.
Day 01 - Your favorite song - Ok, I reeally can't pick one favorite song, but for the sake of answering the question, I'm gonna go with "Hallelujah." Originally written by Leonard Cohen, covered many times by many artists. It's just a beautiful song.
Day 02 - Your least favorite song- "I Like It"- Enrique Iglesias With it's ironic title and all. Yeah, if I had to pick a least favorite song of the moment...this song just annoys me.
Day 03 - A song that makes you happy - "Who Says You Can't Go Home" - Bon Jovi
Day 04 - A song that makes you sad - "Lifehouse" - Blind
Apparently this song is about the death of the frontman's dad.
Day 05 - A song that reminds you of someone "Tearin' Up My Heart" -'N Sync Memories of Lawren and her Joey Fatone crush.
Day 06 - A song that reminds of you of somewhere - "Tom's Diner" - Susanne Vega Memories of France 2003, when Michelle would sing it throughout the trip, but most especially when we were walking up the looong winding stairs of the cathedral tower in Chartres.
Day 07 - A song that reminds you of a certain event - "Cupid's Chokehold" - Gym Class Heros Not really an "event," but this song always makes me think of hanging out with Amelia and Krissy a couple years back, when we were listening to it and singing along with the "Ba ba da da" parts.
Day 08 - A song that you know all the words to "On My Own" Les Mis
Day 09 - A song that you can dance to "Macarena" - Los del Rio Yes, I still remember all the moves.
Day 10 - A song that makes you fall asleep - "Only Time" - Enya
Day 11 - A song from your favorite band "Livin on a Prayer" Bon Jovi
Day 12 - A song from a band you hate "Tik Tok"- Kesha Well, she's not a "band," and I don't "hate" her, but there ya go.
Day 13 - A song that is a guilty pleasure "Summertime Girls" - LFO
Day 14 - A song that no one would expect you to love "Ride Wit' Me" - Nelly

Day 15 - A song that describes you "Bitch" -Meredith Brooks"

Day 16 - A song that you used to love but now hate "The Way You Love Me"-Faith Hill Loved it, and a lot of Faith Hill's stuff, in high school. Now? I wouldn't say I hate it, but yeah, not so much.
Day 17 - A song that you hear often on the radio -"Grenade" Bruno Mars
Day 18 - A song that you wish you heard on the radio- "Marry You" Bruno Mars Though maybe not, since I know the radio would wear it out like they did "Grenade."
Day 19 - A song from your favorite album -"Walk On"- U2
Day 20 - A song that you listen to when you’re angry -"Forget You" (or otherwise titled) -Cee Lo Green
This is the ultimate F- off song, imo, because it's just so happy sounding, in it's throwback motown way, that you really can't stay angry for long.

Day 22 - A song that you listen to when you’re sad - "Angel" - Sarah McLaughlin
Day 23 - A song that you want to play at your wedding -"Everlasting Love" as covered by U2
Day 24 - A song that you want to play at your funeral - "You Raise Me Up"- Josh Groban
Day 25 - A song that makes you laugh - "If You Wanna Be Happy" - Jimmy Soul This is that song in which the key to being happy for the rest of your life is to "get an ugly girl to marry you."
Day 26 - A song that you can play on an instrument "Tonight/Maria/Someday" -West Side Story We did a medley of West Side Story songs in band senior year of high school, back when I still actually played my clarinet.
Day 27 - A song that you wish you could play - "The Boxer" - Carbon Leaf If I played guitar and all...
Day 28 - A song that makes you feel guilty - "One" - U2
I couldn't think of anything that makes me feel "guilty," per say, but "somber" works too, I guess...
