Cats
Our two new cats are settling in. A trip to the vet shows them to be in good health except for some evidence of fleas. Shots, tests and flea treatment were had by both. They are said to be six months old or more since they have their adult teeth. They each weighed in at just over five pounds.
They've been introduced to our resident cat, Anubi. She is treating them with suspicion. We've found ourselves accidentally referring to her as Cicely, our previous old grumpy cat. Her defensiveness and nervousness around the new additions remind us of Cicely's mannerisms strongly. Luckily she seems to be loosening up slowly. She wasn't as tense the second night Delta and Echo were released from the basement. We're keeping them separated while we're gone for the day.
