As for school...

So I ended up with an A- in Discrete Math. My GPA is a 3.4 and I am happy with that.

Also, I have been slow to apply to jobs. I haven't used anything other than Monster so far. Sometimes it's a huge pain in the ass when you have to re-type all your info for a company. It slows things down a lot.

good ideas for applying online:

besides having a word document with your resume, have a very basic Notepad file with an ASCII version of your resume. If you have bullets, make them like this:

- whatever

I have found that a lot of sites ask for text resumes, but then disregard that your resume will probably be not in basic text format.

Also, do this shit at work, so you're not wasting your time at home doing this ;).

Paper resumes are still way more effective. It's good to find online applications, but if you find some kind of address, it's better to send out a paper resume to them. They actually get read. People get millions of resumes online, and most are only glanced over for a second, if even. A paper resume shows you have put the effort into presenting yourself well.

You probably already know this, but I was bored at work.

Also, wear your glasses to your interview.

cover letters are key with jobs you really want. I haven't gotten any job or even an interview to anything I didn't attach a cover letter to. It just helps you put in more extrapolated lies about your resume, making you look like the ultimate employee ;)

Well I already did a cover letter and shit in school, I just need to dust it off and customize it. I'm lazy right now. Actually at home I have been either sleeping or cleaning, so it's not that bad.
