There are some beautiful things about the Midwest. You just didn't get to see them. But if you don't like fairly flat the likelihood that you would appreciate their beauty is slim.

And this from someone who wants to run away from the midwest :-)

I think the only beautiful thing I've gleaned from the midwest are the women. Gorgeous women in the northeast are uncommon. They are the norm in the midwest. It's odd.
