It was only a day or two ago that he was on a nice, picturesque, beach with the most infamous Iris, and now, he finds himself shivering a bit and regretting not having packed a knapsack. Pushing further thoughts aside

Highlanders are impervious to the cold. However, they do, on very rare occasion, get a little chilly, and as Jamie walks through the snow he wishes he was wearing a thicker sweater. Gloves might have been nice too, he rather thinks his fingers are about to go numb.

Soon enough though none of it really matters, because he thinks his entire body has gone numb. There's a man off in the distance. The Doctor. Jamie's Doctor. He sets off in a run, but just before he actually gets to the Doctor he stops, half afraid it'll be an illusion of some sort. After all, how could he be here? Why would he be here?

"Doctor?"

Just as he's about to throw his final snowball, he hears that all-too-familiar sound - the twang of a Scottish voice. He turns round immediately and spots his friend, smiling brightly. "Jamie? Oh, Jamie, is that you?" he calls out excitedly.

"Doctor?" Jamie repeats, walking slowly over to his friend. When he's close enough he reaches out and grabs the Doctor's coat with both hands. Not a mirage then. "Doctor, what are ye doing here?" Because he really shouldn't be. He should be out in the real world, having real adventures.

The Doctor pats Jamie on the shoulder, giving him another smile. He's ever so pleased to see his friend.

Isn't he having a real adventure, though? Through the snow and everything. As far as he's concerned, anyway, this is as real as anything. It certainly feels cold enough to be real. "Oh, well, I... I really don't know for sure. The TARDIS went a little off course, I suppose."
