The Dokuga Forum was able to capture both the chinese manga panels and Patches translation of RT's contribution to this weeks Shonen Sunday in which famous mangakas draw for earthquake relief. The theme was "Heroes Coming Back" She has added to Inuyasha in an after the end story which occurs less than a year after the end of Inuyasha. new chapter for iy

I can just imagine the Dokuga reaction, too, with Sess showing up for what, four pages? Almost like an afterthought? LOL :P

Dokugans were hoping for SK to be declared canon. Sesshoumaru showed up more than I would have expected. He and Kohaku discuss the monster when Kohaku finds the dead bandits. Sesshoumaru knows about the monster which he describes at weak. Still he goes to protect Sango and her children because Rin is there.

*nods* When I first heard about this from KK, I wasn't expecting to see Sess at all, so it was a pleasant surprise to turn the page and see him again, albeit in a total background role :P Very nice to see some further evidence of his relationship with Rin, too, since that was one of the more hotly contested bits of the final chapter :)

It was kind of nostalgic to see Patches translating for Adinuyasha. Starks even posted on Dokuga to say that he had already posted to say that he had already posted his translation. It was nice to see another post canon look at IY. We even learned the name of Sango and Miroku's son Komori. Kagome still has her powers and does not need Kikyou's help anymore. Kagome is finally willing to talk openly about Kikyou and asks IY to do the same.

The scan and its English translation have now been posted around the webww.mangahere.com/manga/inuyasha/c559/

You are welcome. So much to like about this chapter. Sesshoumaru, Kohkau, Jaken and Shippou defending the children.
Sesshoumaru telling Kohaku about the youkai. Miroku telling IY and Kagome that they don't have time to fight about Kikyou. Sango donning her suit and looking as great as ever fighting.

I had questions about the translation. Patches says that Sango say "Take care of the kids which she hands him her son The other translation say that Sango says "Take care of Komari" when she hands the boy to him. It would nice to know the names of children, but RT tends to leave out names.

Patches has IY saying "I wasn't hiding anything from Kagome" while the other translation has him saying " I should not hide this from Kagome"

I can't say that there's anything that disappointed me at all in this chapter (except maybe the lack of names for Miroku and Sango's kids, but that doesn't really surprise me considering even Inupapa and Sessmom never got names). It was fun to get a peek into events down the line for everyone, especially since I've been on a bit of an IY kick lately anyway. :D
