I'm thinking I'll be getting my digital camera pretty soon. I guess it just depends on how much money I can hoard to pay for it. I'm still debating whether or not to get a camera with only 2.x megapixels, or go for one that's like 3.x. I just want to take basic pictures..nothing overly fancy. I've been told that a 2.x digital camera would do just ( Read more... )

Man, at least that's one thing I'm sure I'll pass in college. I love writing papers, long papers....I could write 20 pages on one subject. ;)

You better get it done it time, boy. :P

the higher the megapixel the better quality picture. if you're going to blow the cash to get one i'd go ahead and get a really good one. the highest megapixel's are going right now is 6.0. i doubt if i'll ever abandon my 35mm camera. it's my baby.

I have a decent digital camera that is 2 mega pixels and it gives me nice clear pictures. My mom and brother bought it, it is an Olympus and I believe it was around 150 dollars. You can spend a little more and get more Mega Pixels but you also have to decide if you will purchase one that has a rechargeable battery (because they eat batteries), or get one that comes with a picture card or get a picture card that will hold more pictures, or better quality ones.

Good luck!

I LOVE my Kodak CX6330 digital camera. It's a 3.1 megapixel (and it can print up to 11 by 14 if you choose). I STRONGLY suggest getting 3.0 megapixels or more, unless you strictly want to post web pictures.

The only problem is: Be CAREFUL to not drop it, because you might break off the little piece by the battery door. That happened to me, and I'm going to send it to Kodak after Easter, so they can fix it. (It has a year warranty and I bought it in January. I'm not sure if dropping it caused the problem, but hey, its under warranty, and Kodak will have it back within two weeks--4-5 days for repair and time to ship it from Ohio, so I'm going to send it in.)

My camera was $199 US at Best Buy.com. :)

Sorry about having a random person reply to your LJ. I saw your post in the add me community for those over 21, and I figured I'd check out your LJ. (I'm also a little on the drunk side now, so I apologize if I don't make sense.)

Ha..that's alright. I've been known to make a few drunken posts myself.

I added you, if that's alright?
