After a long time consternating over the best course (as I am apt to do) I have placed an order for a Katzbalger. I am trying to round out my Landsknecht kit a bit more and I figured it was time for some weaponry.

Lets see. Another Waffenrock, more hose, a better hat, another pair of shoes, more shirts, a cloak, a better pouch...

Hey, if you have time when you're home I would like to figure out a pattern for shoes. I have a place where we could sew them using a cobbler's machine. It may be a way to cheat, but they will last a long time. Let me know.

For sure. As I mentioned a post or two ago I scanned the Textiler Hausrat, which has some images of shoes and an Albrect Durer print of shoes too. So that should help.

Thanks. I find that the interest in Landsknecht up here is pushing me to make sure my kit is better than everyone elses (I'm not competative at all...). So thanks for you two for roping Vik and Steinn into it.
