Considering England is one of the premier teams, this is quite a good outing for the Canadians. To put it in perspective, all the England players are pro's and the Canadians are all amateurs. If they keep on this pace it will be close, which there is no way it should ever be.

It was England 279 for 6 and Canada 228 for 6, so England won by 51 runs after both sides had their 50 overs. Not a bad performance by Canada for sure. I would suspect that England would be happy with the win, but not with how close it was.

Cool. It is such an odd sport that I can't help but like it. So much better than baseball. I can't thinkg of many things better than sitting in an oval for a day consuming a few cans and watching some cricket.

Maybe I'll have to become a professional cricket hooligan when I retire.
