Today should have been my first esbat. But I don't know how to celebrate one. -_- Another problem is I don't really have a big room to put out my altar things AND my parents are strict christians. They know that I've always been interested in Wicca as a religion, but they don't accept it and they don't take me serious. Even after all those years I' ( Read more... )

You and I are in the same boat. In fact, I could have written this entry. My Family has no idea about me, and to keep the peace I keep it that way. I mostly wait till after dark and set up a small altar in my room. If I can't manage that, I at least try to take a walk and savor the day.

*giving you a hug* *sigh* I wanted to comment some of your last entries but I was afraid that it wasn't wanted or not suitable. So I didn't. I hope you accept my apologies. Even if it's better it feels good not to be alone...

Comments are always welcome :) There isn't anything to apologize for.

You might be thinking of the one post I just made were I removed the comment button, that's super rare for me. (I think I've done it three times over who knows how many years I written at LJ.) In that case I was being careful because I had to talk to someone on my Flist before I said anything more. Tonight I've taken care of that, so everything is okay.

The Internet is a wonderful thing for that. There are so many wonderful people, and things I have learned from it. I look forward to getting to know you. :)

I have yet, after 2 years, to celebrate a sabbat or esbat. I have never felt that the time was right. I consider myself pagan, very much so, and I know that when the time is right I can do it, and it'll be perfect. But for now I'm happy, simply acknowledging it. With that said, I am prepared. Despite my 10x10ft room, I have all the materials needed for a very basic ritual. I went to my local pagan shop, and got some teeny tiny incense, altar candles, and little candleholders to go with it. For everything else I could just improvise. Aaand, everything fits on my folded-down music stand (I just tilt it down so it's flat, like a little table) You could use anything - a dresser, a nightstand, whatever is available. Then, when you're done, put it in a drawer or in your closet or something. It doesn't have to be permanent.
