Well, I think I finally ironed out a few kinks I was having in a new story I've been developing. This one has potential, but I've said that about my last two ideas as well. The problem is I rarely have any peace to write and then on those rare occasions I do I never feel like it. All I can say is I completely understand writers who need to

This post really resonates with me. I keep having ideas for stories that I jot down, or write up the first chapter of. But then life is too busy --gotta go to work, gotta raid, gotta go do any number of obligations...

There should be somewhere that a person can go for a few hours and be in peace with a comfortable chair and a laptop (too bright at the beach to see the screen!)

My problem is I've never lived alone for very long. Inevitably whoever I'm sharing residence with at the time doesn't offer much in the way of long term peace and quiet. Many times I find it difficult just to complete a lengthy LJ entry. (It doesn't help having an attention demanding cat either. :P)

It sounds cliche to describe it. I mean, it basically boils down to kids with special abilities engaging in the eternal struggle between good and evil. No one's ever read about that before, right? -_-
