First, not that it's really that much of note, but Ladea completed the full
Undead Slayer's Blessed Armor set with very little effort (can't say that about anyone else).
I also managed to procure the
Staff of Beasts after going around an embarrassing amount of time with a green-quality weapon. It was all luck. I happened to be in Nagrand doing another quest chain when someone said they were looking for one more for Ring of Blood. Unfortunately, they wanted me to tank. The only other option was a level 67 paladin, I don't know what spec, but that had to have been rough on the healer. I have no tanking talents at all and no tanking set. I'm not sure being in bear form really made up for essentially being a rogue with a little extra armor and HP.
Most notably, however, SWIFT FLIGHT FORM!
I've been saying to myself ever since I accumulated the 5000g that I would do the quest chain when Sethekk Halls was the heroic daily and today it was! Everything just sort of fell into place, I guess. I managed to get somewhat geared just doing Karazhan for the Vampiric Batling and participating in the scourge invasion for the Tabard of the Argent Dawn tabard achievement. Plus, between classes getting buffed and PvE getting nerfed the instance was a cake walk compared to the first time I did it. I'm just so glad it's done now. I thought for sure I was going to have to pay people to take me through there (before they made it trainable at 71).
I did have to get help for the "balance" part of the quest chain, which is just sadistic for a feral druid. Maybe if I actually had a set with intellect on it I could have managed it. The person who helped me told me they had to respec their druid to Balance to get that part done. Ugh.
Now I just need to get the Ogri'la gronn quests done so I can do the stupid bombing daily before I lose my broom. Thanks again, Blizzard, for adding yet another quest (well, achievement in this case) where druids are forced to purchase a flying mount to complete them. I only hope Preserved Holly works on brooms. I haven't actually tested it yet.
Edit: Yay, got Ogri'la done. Will test broom later, I'm tired. z_z
