Crying has decreased! Now that is not to say that she is completely over her fussiness, but now there are fussy noises before the crying (screaming) begins. She continues to smile and babble. She now grabs at toys and takes them out of my hand. She will play independently for up to 20 minutes. She still loves to be put in a standing position ( Read more... )

I have to say... she sounds a lot like you at that age. We all walked on eggshells when you were in your swing, and it was the only thing that would comfort you enough to sleep during the day. God help us if the swing wound down before we could rewind it, or if the rewinding woke you up...

I remember mom telling me that, which is why I had hoped the swing would work with her. It only does if she has relaxed enough before hand to get to the really sleepy stage.

Lots of irons in the fire... 12-14 hour days four days a week, sad to say, have been the norm for the last two+ months solid. And weekends mostly spent sleeping in an effort to recover. :-p

I'm on LJ pretty regularly. And if you had more pics you wanted to email, that would be cool too. If not no worries.
