She continues to be full of smiles....almost hard to believe she was so cranky her first 4 months. She has not really gotten much bigger than her 6 month visit, but since she was in the 80/90 percentile then, that is alright ( Read more... )

As we rapidly approach the 2 week mark, I do not think we will have the "most babies go down without protest". She has only been crying until I leave the room, which is an improvement. She still has night wakings, but far fewer than before we started. It took her a month of tummy torture to get her to stop protesting tummy time, so I expect ( Read more... )

Still fussy at diaper changes and really got upset at the 7pm one. She did not freak at the bedtime one. I do not know if it was due to extra mommy snuggles, mommy trying to be positive and fun, or having our clothes changed that threw her off. What I have read claims babies may go through regression night 5-8. Basically they realize that this is the way things are going to be now and they don't want it. They also protest diaper changes as they associate them with going to bed. It usually lasts 1-3 nights with the first usually being the worst. Let's hope so ( Read more... )
