[RP] Bad GM, no biscuit

These hot nights are playing merry hell with my ability to get anything done. Such as, say, all the prep for yesterday's game.

(Astronomy is also not getting done atm, but that's actually less of a problem)

The game didn't go as badly as I had feared, but there were a couple of points where I was painfully aware that I as GM should be Doing ( Read more... )

A system with three suns?! How is that een a tiny bit navigable? Or habitable?!

The lack of navigability was a big problem, given that the pilot had locked herself in her cabin with all the booze :)

The three suns in question are very small and cool, and the planet isn't very habitable; it's just very profitable.

Helios has a similar issue, but in that case there are other reasons why it was colonised.

It produces a luxury spice from airborne plankton, actually. I got bored of mines after Sidlaw and Solomon :)

I think the lack of both quisalan and davefish didn't help; neither absence could be helped

It's certainly the first session where our response to finding a criminal was to hand them into the local law enforcement office. Although Reagan did at least shout at them first.
