Spent part of the journey home from Cthulhu last night shouting at a recent TWiP podcast.

You definitely should. I really love TWiP; Dick Despommier is a great teacher, even when he isn't officially teaching :)

I especially recommend TWiP #11: One Times Three Million, which covers malaria and tries to get across the scale of the human cost of those numbers.

I may have mostly chosen the path of the geosciences, but you will take my infectious diseases out of my cold, dead hands.
