Mistress of indecision

I'm enjoying this Evolution course so darn much. Did I make a mistake choosing geology? Should I have gone for biology after all?

...and if I had, would I even now be going 'I hate cell biology and biochemistry so darn much, I should have chosen geology'?

It's becoming clear to me that however much I'm interested in the processes of hard rock ( ( Read more... )

There are always going to be bits you absolutely love or loath about any course :) I did biology and found that.

Well, that's absolutely true, of course. That's what made choosing between the two so difficult in the first place!

I wanted to do Oceanography, especially since I liked a lot of the envionrmental modelling stuff in the L1 science course we did, but it says you need Environmental Science, which looked kind of rocky to me, and in any case isn't running any more. So now I need to pick a different 90 creds worth in l2/l3 stuff.

Environmental Science 'or at least two Level 2 science courses - preferably in different disciplines'

By the time S330 starts for the last time in October you'll have done that... maybe not in different disciplines, but I mostly assume the OU's course entry requirements don't apply to me :D (Technically I shouldn't be doing Evolution as my first l3 course, and I should have a pass in at least two Level 2 biology, earth science or environmental science courses, rather than, err, none of the above. But it's all fine!)
