So I ventured up to the Isle of Manhappiness yesterday because alostrael and bigbrother2084 were in town and I had a wonderful time. Oh you know those Germans. Always quirky and stoic. They’re not as weird as those Russians though. >;) No but seriously I met Stefan years ago at Eric’s house. This was something like 2000 or 2001 ish. I faintly remember talking to him about Industrial bands. But most of my first few years in Lawrence are a blur now.

So I hear you have a new *special* friend!!!! How’s that going?

Hmmm, considering the circumstances you heard that in, I suspect I would not have appreciated hearing the tale.

She's hardly new, and I'm not quite sure what definition of "special" you were given....

she is in my Top list on MySpace (and i know she's in your f-list too), and on my Facebook. If you look at my tagged photos at either of those, you'll know the "who".

As for "how it's going?"... I don't know.
It's going, so that's already a positive change from the year+ of being alone, and the lost cause emotional attachments of preceding years

I mean special in a good way. It's good you have something going on there. Finding someone new to spend time with is generally a good thing. Screw the past.
