Should you happen to pass through Louisburg, and see a little yellow house on a hill on the western side of the street (there's only one street and one house like it), next to a mansiony-looking place (on the southern side), that's the house that's been in my family for 140 years, that I hope to one day live in.
as far as radio internships: better than tv stuff, but be weary of the "intern cycle". you want to avoid "nobody wants to do this" jobs and try to get one of the last remaining career building internships. often people intern as chase reporters and it gets them much further than most other positions. it's a realy important and well respected job and usually sets people up for larger things.
yeah yeah agreed i eschewed the CBC immediately because I figured i wouldn't get to do anything there except fetch coffee. looking at smaller outlets or this all-news station out here right now.
