I just had deja vu.
That is almost the exact same haircut I had sophomore year of high school. The front, instead of being purple, it was called "Orange Crush"

I am guessing you need to alternate sighing with rapid inhales.
It might sound painful, but if you develop a rhythym, it can be comforting.

i've missed your words...
i think, sometimes, that i'm always secretly fighting rhythm--
in heartbeats.
in breathing.
but i'll try tonight...
to just close my eyes.
and just breathe.
and just be.

It appears I am fighting bad spelling. Also.
Breathing--being in a place without examining its purpose or meaning-- is such a difficult thing to do.
I often concentrate on the patterns of grain in wood or the number of lines on a wall in chair fabric. Diversion by focusing.
I think Walt Whitman had the whole thing figured out.
