ANSWER is organizing another large scale protest in DC on Sept 15th. Please make it out, there are no excuses for missing this kind of thing. If you need a place to stay near DC I will gladly accomodate you and even feed you. If you already live in NOVA, you have even less ( Read more... )

elaboration: they don't mind english speakers, generally great restaurants and accommodations, a lot of places to visit (florence/ florentine architecture, canals of venice, tower of piza, pompeii & vesuvius, murano glass factory, rome & the ruins thereof & the colusseum and all, tuscany, sistine chapel vatican city etc etc etc

kind of a bit biased right now since i'm finishing up four weeks here, but Ireland is awesome.

if you're into castles and history and pretty scenery and such, i'd say either the Rhine region in Germany or the Loire in France, both are chock full of beautiful scenery

The UK is really neat, especially London, and there's the advantage of it being an english speaking country

and i've never been to greece, but i bet that's got to be pretty cool

sadly, it's been about 8 years since i've been to most of these places, and all my memories are a bit fuzzy :(
