Last year I started writing The Bakery Fic. A Damon/Elena central AU, wherein life revolved around Damon's coffee shop and his hate for Christmas. There was caramel slice.

i kind of maybe was in love with this idea. like. no lies. damon was like the grinch and hated christmas, and then stefan came home from college and elena came with him AND THEY WERE WARM AND FUZZY, and damon recruited all his team (including caroline and tyler) to work at the coffee house. and then alaric moves in across the road to open a bakery and war breaks out because competition is NOT ACCEPTABLE TO DAMON. it is a christmas/bakery/coffee filled war. and i wanted it finished for this christmas, BUT MY LAPTOP HATES ME.
