Good: BBC Sherlock won some Emmys.

Bad: Moffat says season four will be "devastating."

May I just ask WHY? WHY must we be devastated? Is devastating your audience a THING now? Why not make them happy? WHY DEVASTATED? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????

I shall simply say, seconded!

To paraphrase a great man: RE:Moffat- I reject your canon and substitute Lanning's.

*grins* One must always be very careful about one's angst-to-sparkly ratio.

I couldn't agree more. Moffat is way too gloomy. I don't mind a little angst, but give us some light for contrast please!!

I love that final graphic!!!!

Yes, yes, more affection and banter and derring-do (with perhaps a teaspoon of angst) and less devastation! Devastation and drama are not synonymous, Moffat.

I love the dancing boys, too. They sparkle. ;)

I adore BBC Sherlock, but honestly think that Sherlock in Elementary is closer to canon Holmes than BBC's Sherlock is. From the beginning I found BBC Sherlock to be a darker character than Book Holmes. By going darker and darker for each season, Moffat is getting further and further away from the 'feel' of the books. :(

I agree -- Elementary is definitely closer in tone to Holmes Canon than BBC Sherlock. I will not be watching next season unless it can be proven to me that Moffat hasn't killed the entire cast or some other "edgy" stunt.
