So...I'm sure everyone's heard by now that Marvel Comics just issued a book in which it's revealed that Captain America is an agent of Hydra. Yes, Cap is, and evidently always has been, a Nazi. And I could go on about how profoundly stupid and offensive that decision is, but I just read something that says it all so much better, and it's here:

I totally agree. I'm not even a comic reader, but I do watch the Avengers movies. This is just the most asinine, hateful thing I've seen in a long time. WTF? What are they thinking. I don't understand the motivation. It's a true slap in the face to readers and the creators.
