poutine anonymous September 24 2009, 16:06:10 UTC
Ummm, so in case you didn't know, I'm in love with poutine. I eat it all the time! and I have to say It's so hard to find here it sucks. You have to go to canada or close to the border, it's almost impossible to even find cheese curd. so I just make my own version...sigh, Lanny, you and I need to food date. shayle

:O I didn't know you love poutine!! We DO need to make a food date! It's hard to find in California too, I found one and they didn't even use cheese curds because the customers didn't like it (they used mozzarella instead). T_T yeah, I have to make my own too. I miss the Costco one in Canada, it's $3 for a gigantic thing of poutine with lots of gravy and cheese.

I don't think I could ever live in a place without a Target. Being in Italy for a month was bad enough, I certainly couldn't go any longer.

I love your food posts. So many of my NY friends are food bloggers (They work for http://www.seriouseats.com/), so reading food blogging in another country is exciting to me. XD

When I went to Tokyo, my fav place was this fancy/expensive French pastry shop in the Ginza district that sold the most delicious earl grey tea ice cream if you wanted to keep an eye out. XD

Have you been to Harajuku yet? Delicious, delicious crepes! And cute clothes, of course.

Ooh I'll be on the look out, we haven't been to Harajuku yet. Earl grey tea ice cream?? That sounds so different, I'll definitely try it. It's good to know there's other people who love food too *______*
