Of course Lansing is dirt cheap. GM pulled their plants out of there and the unemployment rate is pretty high.

Welcome...good luck finding a job to go with that cheap apartment. Oh and make sure you are in a "good" neighborhood.

Hehe, trust me, I know about the area... I was born and raised in this city and have always kept taps on what's been taking place. I got my old cooking job back so fortunately I was able to dodge that bullet, now I just need to find worthwhile roommates.

Ah, I might be a bit on the "snobby" side as I was raised in Mason and now live in Ann Arbor. I still have friends in Lansing and I am surprised every time I go up there at how desolate it looks.
