Movie Review: Iron Man 3

Okay, it's official.  I think I'm in love with Tony Stark.  Iron Man 3 was everything Iron Man 2 should have been, but wasn't.  It has action, love, good buddy moments between Stark and Rhodes, believable danger, and a formidable opponent ( Read more... )

Just took my two older girlies to see it this past saturday morn. They're 12 and 9.5. We loved it. That little kid was just great and had wonderful chemistry with RDJ, didn't he?

We saw it in 2D bc all the 3D shows were sold out saturday.

I also thought the end scene was a sort of wink-wink subtle homage to shippers of Tony and Banner.....a fact that the actors themselves are apparently aware of and play up to. But maybe I'm just reading into it too much? ;)

Yes, I loved him with the kid. They had a wonderful chemistry. You didn't miss anything not getting the 3D. Not at all. The only reason why we got 3D tickets in because we ordered them online in advance. Next up is Superman. I tried to see if anyone wanted to watch the new Star Trek and no one wants to, and I don't think I'm interested enough to want to go watch it alone.

Tony/Banner? Really? I never even had the slightest clue about that. I just like them as buddies. I can't wait to see more of them working together on science stuff. But, nothing's wrong with seeing what you do. :D

Yeah the new superman does look rather good! So does Star Trek....it's nice, I have built in movie buddies in the form of my 12 and 9 year olds.....especially the 12 year old who has gone to midnight movies with me.

I tend to view Tony/Banner as buddies too.....but apparently there's a whole group on tumblr that have seen something else ;).

That sounds awesome! I wish my movie theater was like that. You're definitely not missing anything seeing IM3 in 2D. The shirt sounds neat. It gives me an idea for my next attempt in Photoshop. I'll try making a movie poster with both IM and IP suits. :)

My friend and I are going to see Superman next month. She wants to go to a different theater in another city that I've never been to before, so she'll be doing the driving and setting up the tickets and what not. I'm not sure about STID, but I was willing to go if anyone else wanted to, but none of my friends in RL are Star Trek fans in the least.

The Wolverine movie looks like it's going to be good. Love Hugh Jackman. :)
