Whatever happened to games?

It's time to post again, and I still haven't started my SGA rewatch so maybe I should write something deep, like pondering the meaning of life.  Eh, the best I can do is whatever happened to games

All the photo students used to get together from my college and play Apples to Apples during these huge parties we always put on. Hipsters love that shit for some reason.

Eventually it became booze fulled grab ass and strip poker so I stopped going.

I've never played Apples to Apples, but it sounds like it was fun up until the drunkenness and nudity. I'll have to try it, but that'll be after I let one of my friends try to teach me cribbage. She said it's not as complex as it looks, but we'll see.

I LOVE board games! I play crib, Apples to Apples, Trivial Pursuit, Balderdash, and this game we randomly found in a hobby shop called "What?" They are so much fun! I have a close group of friends - 4 couples total - and almost every time we get together we end up playing a game or 2.

You are so lucky! I proposed a weekly game night on Fridays, but to no avail. I really think I might start a meet-up group or something this Winter when people don't go out as much to get back into game playing. Sounds like you all have a lot of fun! :)
