i had a woman buy me a book. she overheard me talking about it, and about how i have to check my accounts because i really can't afford it but i really feel strongly that i needed to have that book. so she bought it for me and left. when i went back to the bookstore, it was mine.

i honestly do not remember nice things i do for people because i always feel that i can't do enough, and i often wish i could do more. but i offer rides, and share food and tea a lot, donate to charities, and used to pitch in and do hands on volunteer work also. *shrug*

I've done the Timmie's thing a few times myself.

My most recent random act tho was a few months ago. I was coming out of the 'smelly store' (kiddie's name for a chinese grocery store that smells like dead fish) where I get my 'yuckies' from (kiddies's name for dried salted prunes I get there...aquired taste lol). It had just started to rain and a woman who had been at the same store was walking thru the parking lot. She wasn't impressed cuz she had to walk to her kid's babysitter's house. I told her to jump in, I'd give her a ride. Ended up being not far from my place and found out that she actually lives on the same street as me!! lol

A bit of a digression here but...did you know that threatening to go to the 'smelly store' is a good way to get kiddies to stop acting up?? Tis true!! hahaha

:-)
