- the figures fade into the background and are blurry
- I love the texture use, very unique and the cropping is really nice, it's just a fantastic little icon, eye-catching.

- I love the dreamy blue and the slight glow everything has, and how the focus is Zelenka and the look he's giving Weir. Very pretty and well executed.

Yes, I saw that! I didn't want to give concrit earlier because the competition was still going on, but I think the greatest single improvement you could have made was in the coloring of Elizabeth. I like the concept of the icon but imo her colors in no way match or complement it. I think making her larger or adding text or a text-like decoration to the middle-rightish area could have been good but the main issue in my eyes was the coloring.

Blurriness was my main concern with my submitted icon... I am not at all competent at sharpening while using my huge tv as my monitor. Fortunately the stuff to send my monitor back to the manufacturer arrived... Only another month of this annoyance, hah.

Re; ST icons: I have been having fun at voy-stillness! Go check the tiebreaker for the latest completed challenge, all four tied for third place are mine, LOL. It was bizarre to see that on my flist.

Yeah, you're definitely right about my Elizabeth icon - especially the lack of text and the nothingness in the middle.

With your submitted icon, my main concern is the blurriness and the slight pixellation in the background.

o check the tiebreaker for the latest completed challenge, all four tied for third place are mine, LOL. It was bizarre to see that on my flist. Hee! Hard choice, but I'd definitely go for the younger Janeway icon. I just like the colours :).
