Round 2 // On Winner Banner Makers and Cap Collectors
Winner Banner Maker Lowdown:
Each week two Members' Choice and two Mod's Choice icons are chosen by the voters and the mod (me), respectively. The creators of said entries receive a small winner banner in congratulations.
Winner banners come in a variety of sizes, colours etc, but they always include the following:
- the name of the community
- the round and challenge number
- the winner's name
- the winning icon
Here is an example from R1 (made by wannatee_1984):
As long as it has those four things above, then you can design anything. It can be abstract or it can have the SGA Stargate in the background etc.
To determine who makes the winner banners for a certain week, lantis_lims has a Winner Banners Rotation. That means if we have, say, five winner banner makers, you will make the winner banners every five weeks.
The Winner Banners Rotation is always displayed in the user info.

Cap Collectors Lowdown:
Since Dedicated to SG-1 is closing soon, I will undoubtedly find it harder to collect high quality caps. To combat this, I've decided to have a Cap Collectors Team. Team members are assigned the task of finding interesting looking caps. By 'interesting', I mean caps that have a unique angle, a focus not often iconned etc. Caps can be submitted to me via the following email address: ladyserenity_moon @ hotmail dot com.
Sometimes I will ask team members to search for a specific type of cap (i.e. please find me caps where red is the dominant colour), but be aware I will not spring these requests on you. I'll make sure I ask you at least a week in advance.
Remember, I'm looking for high quality caps, so caps from low quality TV rips aren't accepted. Anything above that and we're good :). Also, please always supply me with the name of the source so I can credit. Credit is vital.
