Project 52 Weeks 20-24

Jun 22, 2008 02:08

I fell behind yet again, so I'm catching up now.

Week 20: Springtime ADVENTURE!
I got the opportunity to tape my old kindergarten's production of The Wizard of Oz in mid-May. Amusingly, 21 years ago, I was the Tin Man in the same play. To me, and hopefully to them, it was an adventure on stage, so this was their springtime adventure.

Week 21: Personally Yours
For five years, I've been the video guy for the Vermont Voltage, and for all but the first year, this has been my perch above the field. (The first year had a different press box, which was destroyed that fall in a storm.) I'm proud of the work I do with them.

Week 22: Industrial
It's not anything big, but I think the oil filter on the house's fuel oil tank looks industrial.

Week 23: Summertime
A big part of every summer for me is taping the Voltage (see Weeks 8 and 21). I occasionally get to go on road trips with the team to tape away games as well. This one is just after arriving in Manchester for a game against New Hampshire (1-1 draw).

Week 24: Corners
When my brain's in Voltage mode, my first thought with the word "corner" is a corner kick. This particular corner flag's on the field at Manchester's Memorial High School.

I don't have a photo for Activities yet. Hopefully soon.
