Anybody want to get me away tomorrow?

My birthday is pretty much written off unless someone wants to take me out.

My wife has once again done everything in her power to complicate my birthday plans and overspend our budget. I have been expressing a few simple goals for my birthday, and they have one by one become financially impossible. It is now to the point where I'm looking at probably a little over a hundred dollars to feed my family, do laundry, and fill my gas tank on for the next two weeks. And my wife spends five dollars or more on lunch every day she works, and fifteen or more on every day she is off without me there. Basically I have to return to starving myself on my ten hour work days and cancel any special plans for my birthday dinner.

So, after I get home from working ten hours tomorrow, I can expect to come home to an over expensive meal that my wife will probably insist on buying anyway and feel guilty eating it knowing my kids will be poorly feed for at least half if not all of next week. I'm so glad that my wife will have her new haircut for my birthday. The one we agreed she could wait a couple weeks on only last night. This after buying expensive hair dye the last two paychecks, and deciding her hair is driving her crazy.

It has been years since she has taken my birthday seriously. I seriously exhausted with finding my possessions and my goals treaded over and in some cases ripped apart on my floor with a baby in the middle, or a pile of dirty dishes on top of it. And when I get upset, I'm told I'm being disrespectful and controlling. All she can say to me is how she doesn't want to talk about this and how its all my fault that we are fighting. If I would just stop being so controlling.

So today is my day off. Day before my birthday. I work tomorrow. I thought it vaguely fair to have the day for me. We are having dinner tonight at her uncle's house so she can see her cousin before she leaves town. I went out on a 2am Woodman's run so we would have some basic staples for the month. I slept in while they went out to the library and bought lunch, that was nice sort of. But now I'm having to pay for it as my wife chose to take a lawnmower to her hair while I was holding the sleeping baby in bed, and has passive-aggressively forced the issue of the haircut we agreed we couldn't afford. It is now 4:21pm and I have not yet showered. But she has been out all day, the second part leaving the kids on me. Dinner is at 6pm. All this to the sounds of Barbie movies (one of them Christmas themed), that they picked up together today. The only birthday card I got so far has been claimed by my wife for laundry money.

Basically I am open to any plan you want that involves getting me away from the house tomorrow and buys me a good soda.
