A while ago I asked for questions from people for the 5 questions meme.  And then I got busy and didn't get around to answering them.

Mispronounce? It's true that your name is one we don't see everyday, (well, you do...) but people really have trouble saying it?

If people have never heard it before and they're looking at it on paper? Oh yeah. Once they've heard it most people generally have no problems with it. Most people. There are always exceptions.

There's the occasional Lonya or Layna (or sometimes Joia :) )
But by far the most common way to misprounounce it has been Lanya where you say the first part like you're saying land.
