Yes, I know I don't post very often.  And yes, I know that is a HUGE understatement.  But see, I want something from you all.  *grin*   Work is sending me to Finland in August for about a week and I'm going to take about 4 extra days after that and play the tourist.  Do any of you have any recommandations (or anti-recommendations) of places to go,

Somewhere up there is a nifty little island with examples of historical building styles scattered around it - I think it was in or near Helsinki, but it's been a lot of years, and it's a little late at night for me to play google-stalk. I'll poke around sometime soon and see what I can find

Finland is a very happening place. You can do various things there like you can enjoy seeing the great Helsinki attractions, Tampere attractions, Espoo attractions etc.
