Since it sounds like your mom wont do anything, why don't you try to yourself?
Start only speaking Spanish to your lil bro, and pretend you can't understand him unless he speaks it back.

I have only spoke in spanish to my little brother. I don't allow him to speak in english to me. I never have.

I completely agree and understand everything youre talkin about. I myself am a product of not always speaking to my rents in spanish. Id say i speak to my dad in spanish 20% and my mom 75% of the time. My dad gets mad at me when i dont know how to speak correctly or i dont know a word. But then again he also thinks i dont like hispanic guys cuz all my boyfriends happen to be white heh. I know he always wishes we turned out more hispanic and that id speak perfect spanish. I will be the first to admit, my spanish is Totally not the best. Growing up i just never spoke to my parents much. Whenever i did talk to my dad though he spoke to me in english about 70% of the time. It was also my bro, sis and friends id talk in english to. My dad annoys me sometimes cuz whenever i ask him "que" after something he thinks its because i didnt understand a word he said, when in actuality its cuz i didnt hear him. He gives me this mad you should understand Everything i say look, then sometimes asks me "Why did you turn out this way??" It makes me feel ( ... )
