Merry Christmas

The years have somehow taken away the holiday feel. Do you get this blues these days, when Christmas and the New Years come - like it is not a holiday anymore, nothing like that magic crystal-sparkling time you used to have back when you were a kid? I have the same feelings, absolutely..But I even don't allow myself to feel nostalgic... always to busy...schedules, as you say...Great post, very hopeful after all :) The photos are wonderful! Is the first one your house? Who's Lemme?

Well, this looks like a great house with this staircase, is it a duplex in an apartment block? (when I visited China's big cities, it looked like most people lived in high-risers)

It is indeed an apartment, a bit short of a penthouse : ))) The staircase leads to a roof patio.
BTW, the Christmas tree is a real 'orthodox' one, getting close to the roots - it is actually a palm tree! : )

Great post, Serge. And the whirling stairs, and the dwarf-sized Christmas tree:) Agree about the feeling totally, and especially here, where I am now, the lights and the decorations are all around, but the magic inside is but for other reasons.
