Meadows of Heaven by epeeblade is the first of two stories I've done art for for this year's spn_j2_bigbang.

Summary: Hundreds of years in the future, in a galaxy torn apart by war, Commander Jeffrey Dean Morgan must team up with Lt. Jensen Ackles to rescue two lost soldiers on a planet with a society based around BDSM (bondage, domination, submission, sado-masochism). Jensen, who specializes in sexual espionage, must go undercover as Jeff's sexual submissive to prove that Jeff is a Master worthy of bringing the captive troops home. In a city made up of alien technology so advanced it's like magic they discover not everything is what it seems, including their own mission. The citizens of planet 328 have their own politics and and their own secrets. And just how far will Jeff and Jensen have to go to appease their own military, who is far more interested in the technology than in rescuing the missing men? Somehow, they must also deal with their attraction for each other and decide which is more important: duty or love.

Warnings: bdsm, multiple partners, implications of het, slavery, whipping, spanking, paddling, object play, nipple play, voyeurism, exhibitionism, humiliation, rape, sensory deprivation, bondage, collars, foodplay, bloodplay, CBT, torture by proxy, orgasm denial, life force draining, name calling, punishment, begging, orgy, boot licking, facial ejaculation, gags, (Note: not all of this happens to the main characters, but simply may be mentioned or referred to.) Despite this warning, there is also quite a bit of plot, and, yes, romance.

Note: The art is not nearly as kinky as the story. The most you will find are collars, nipple rings, and a bit of Misha's thigh as he removes a kilt. Also you will see some familiar faces from other sources, even if SPN isn't your thing.

In the spirit of full disclosure I should probably mention that the the larger 'verse it takes place in originated as a kinky little birthday ficlet for me last July and subsequently mushroomed with this as the latest, although not the last, installment (don't worry if you haven't read the others - it should stand alone just fine as long as kinky sex with lots of plot is to your taste.) One of the advantages having a longer than average time to acquaint myself with story is that I had a lot of time to think about what might be fun to play with and to gather images if I got to actually do the art. While I did let others have a chance to grab the story (it would have been fun to see what they'd have done with it), I was more than happy to take it myself when it hadn't gone by the time I'd grabbed another. This combined with a trial version of Corel Painter made for, um, an exuberance of art. There's lots. Lots and lots. So much that I've broken it up into three posts to save those whose connections don't like loading tons of graphics and still stuck the big versions of the images behind cuts and links.
