There was a gentle knock at Ruka's door and Ohtori Akio stuck his head in smiling blindingly.

"Good day to you, Tsuchiya-kun." He breezed in and stood hands in pockets. "I take it you got my letter."

Ruka's fingers clenched around the edges of the envelope that lay in his lap. He refused to look up at the other man. Trembling started in his hands and travelled in a rush through his whole body, but he did his best to keep still.

I am NOT weak.

But something in Ohtori Akio's gaze made him feel naked, vulnerable, exposed. He hated it.

"I got your stupid letter..." he bit out.

Akio cocked an eyebrow and smirked at the young man's anger. Such resilience was something to be admired.

"I recieved a poem. Your nurse was kind enough to submit it to me. I must admit that the subject matter was a tad...unsettling." He paced the room gracefully, his long hair swishing behind him. "Dare I say...accusing." He shot a look back at the young man in the bed. "You can rant all you want but no one is going to listen to the demented ravings of a sick boy. Especially not her."

Ruka bit his tongue to keep from cursing and ran his thumb over the unbroken seal on the letter. He hadnt opened it yet. He'd been afraid to. But how did the Chairman know that the poem had been meant for Juri? How? And if he knew about this letter he must know about the others. His stomach twisted itself into an unsettling knot.

Had Juri even gotten them? And if she had, had she understood what he was trying to tell her?

He smirked and tossed his head.

"She never listens. That's my Juri for you."
