What do you think about the new look? Should I stick with it or go back to Elazul?
By the way, here's
Long ago in a time dust
covers, lived Lady Dawn and her two lovers,
They were all friends but
one of them fell,
Their gripping story I
will tell.
So listen well fair dames
and gents,
To this story of impure
intents.
“Hearken, miss,” said
Dawn’s Lady-in Waiting,
“John is here and the
doorbell is ringing
Ready thyself, miss, for
this young suitor
Hurry thyself, miss, to
the second floor”
Bard: Enter John,
son of a local blacksmith
Dawn rushes upstairs to
prepare forthwith.
“Where are you, fair
Dawn,” calls John from below
“Your bright face eludes
me; let it now show!”
Dawn appears on second floor
“Why John, how you
flatter me. What brings you here?”
“We can’t talk long.
The day grows late, I fear.”
John: “why does
it matter? For you are the dawn!”
“Let’s take a walk.
We shall not be long gone.”
Enter Leo
Leo: “John, my
friend, how nice it is to see you.”
John: “Hello, my
good Leo, how do you do?”
Leo: “I am quite
well, I am here for a date.” Gesture at Dawn
John: “Oh really?
Me too, I hope I’m not late.”
Dawn: “A date? Oh
no, I’d forgotten! Dear me!”
Leo: “It will be
alright. Don’t worry, you’ll see!”
Dawn: “But I made
a promise. What shall I do?
Oh, how shall I ever
choose between you?”
John: “ Do not fear for
I know what shall be done, and by one of us your heart will be won.”
Leo: “ So what is it
that you propose to do?”
John: “ Simple my friend
we will just have a duel.”
Dawn: “Oh no, I do not
want you to be hurt! This is a mistake that I must avert.”
John: “Do not worry we
will not fight with swords, but our duel will be fought only with
words. I will let you start so say what you feel, and what you truly
are shall be revealed.” awkward
Leo: “Her eyes, her
eyes! They make me feel weak! And nobody has a better physique.”
John: “So you want her
body to be your own, and from her money she shall be thrown?”
awkward
Leo: “You have me wrong,
my intentions are pure! Oh why are you misleading her monsieur?”
John: “I know your past
and you have once been poor, you don’t wish to live as you did
before.”
Leo: “I shall defend my
honor against you! With my words, before the Lady I pursue”
Leo: “My words are
sharper than any drawn sword, so now let the blood of your heart be
poured”
John: You played by the
rules, and you won the duel, and now I die here, and perish a fool!
(Pardon the various
grammatical errors. Also, this is a work in progress, so
hopefully we will improve the areas that say *awkward*)
I must say it's the best
piece of group writing I've been a part of. And it's poetry, no
less! I always thought writing as a group was a hopeless
endeavor, but life amazes me every day.
