Wow Ryan, that seems so...noble. What a good resolution.

Now I feel guilty about "Physics hurts the kitty" and especially "Captain Kidney." My physical therapist was poking me in the kidney the other day and I started laughing; she asked if that ticked and I had to explain Captain Kidney to her. I guess it was a you-had-to-be-there thing.

I hope the year goes well for you, and your kidneys continue to produce much urea.

Aww... I was hoping no one would feel bad for joking around; if all my conversations were serious, I'd feel like the Physics Kitty! I mean, one needs a good balance, and I haven't been feeling like I've had a good balance.

I must thank you for the Physics Kitty and [laughing at] Captain Kidney. They were highlights of class with you.

Aww, that makes me feel so warm and fuzzy. Captain Kidney, as it were, is my hero.

And you're my hero too. Being in class with you and Michael was really a treat, and I maintain that it was the only way I passed the class with a fairly good grade and without having to pay for it. Not only did you make Physics bearable, you made it fun. That's saying something for someone as non-Physics minded as me. So thanks for all the good times, and thanks for all the help too-- I owe you several.

Oh, and I hope I'll get to see you soon, I have your Christmas present sitting on my desk.
