First day of classes and just one complaint

Classes fine, boring first day read-aloud-from-the-syllabus...

However, in Biology 1002 we learned that we were also required to purchase the Thinkwell's Biology CD set. It'll cost at least $50 and won't have much resale value. We'll need it for our quizzes and out-of-class activities.

Switch to Joni Drost's class. CD is not required, and she refuses to use clickers. And she lets you use the old textbook if you have it, and I do.

Ach, unfortunately I can't make any of her classes. It would cut into my work time on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I did, however, write a polite letter to the department telling them why I thought the CD requirement was positively ludicrous.
