Corrections: Jay and Olive didn't have kids. Well, maybe Jay did. But not Olive. And Aunt Grace was married to a polygamist, so it wasn't valid or anything, but I think they were together for five years.

Jay did have kids - that much I know is true. As for Olive, that makes sense. And I think I remember hearing about Aunt Grace being briefly married to someone who had forgotten to divorce his first wife, but I didn't know they were together that long.

OK, well, I don't think Jay's kids were at the reunion this year.

No, they weren't. I don't think they usually come. He was the alcoholic of the generation.

I was googling my great-grandpapa John Webster, stumbled on your jnl, and thought it'd be fun to say "hey cuz". I am Charles Trowbridge, Myrtis' eldest son and I haven't made the family reunion in way too long (1991?). I'm glad the family keeps it going and good for you to make it there! I hope to attend again and really but so many that I knew are gone. I love Dennis' saying. I'll confess to scanning your journal enough to know that we're related, that you bleed when razor cut, and ...are in Austria/Germany(?).

I hadn't heard some of the stories referenced here. Is anyone writing them down? It'd be fun to collect them. GTG. my email is bat@xyz.net
