Yeah! Abbey road is wunderbar! I like to sing Maxwell's Silver Hammer to my nephew Max. I just wish some of the songs were longer. . . they're so great, but so short!
I've made mix cds of 04 and 05 and I hope some good stuff comes around this year (I think YeahYeahYeahs have a new one coming out. Plus Radiohead and TMBG should release a new studio one.)
Anyway, I liked Spoon's Gimmie Fiction, Beck, the Gorillaz, MIA, DangerDoom, Atmosphere, Blackalicious! So many great CDs! Here's the cover to my mix:

Yeah, I didn't really expect a Top 10 of 2005 list. More so just mentioning some albums or some songs you were digging. This is more like it. Just reflection on music. Especially when it encourages me to listen to stuff I haven't listened to in a while or never listened to. I'm listening to Abbey Road right now because of your post.

I have been listening to "Trace" on my bathroom CD player while in the shower for the past 2 weeks now. I fall in love every time.
