I agree entirely. I remember my ultimate obsession after seeing the first movie, besides, it can't get any worse than Dead Man's Chest, right?

so, if i get that you were referring to Pirates of the Carribbean and the fact that you are referring to the Producer and Director to have another shot at trying to do better on the third installment than the second, can we go on a date?!

upon another reading of your post i know that you are referring to having one last shot because they've been marooned on a desert island and you're saying it in that great way that literally everybody says it (whether it's johnny being sexy or geoffrey being all like, lilting and weird!)
