Don't ask me who I'm voting for; I'll just tell you Stephen Colbert. I think I've decided, I don't think it will matter, and I don't expect you to see my side. That's the point of politics, one man one vote, so leave well enough alone and let's talk about something else.

I'm constantly amazed at the number of people who calmly ask me who I support in this election. Whatever happened to the secret ballot? My vote is my business, and it drives me nuts when people say "so, who are you voting for?"

Bad grammar aside, for whom I'm voting is none of their damn business. I don't scruple to tell them so, either. I've gotten more than a few looks of surprise-turned-chagrin when I point out the personal and prying nature of their question, which almost makes the insult worth it. :)

But yes. Vote! And keep your privacy! Support the candidate you prefer, regardless of what goes on around you, because that's the whole point.
